A charismatic star known not just for his acting skills, but also his chiselled body and dance moves, Hrithik Roshan has come a long way since his first film – Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. He has made a mark in Bollywood with films like Dhoom 2, Jodhaa Akbar, Krrish and Bang Bang. The lean and muscular B-town star is most famous for his Greek-god like figure, which is a point of envy for most men. The actor makes it a point to make time for a workout, despite juggling with a hectic shooting schedule and his family. Roshan also makes it a point to follow a strict diet, that makes it easier to maintain his physique.

Here is a glimpse at Hrithik Roshan’s diet plan and workout routine

-    Workout Routine
To enhance his stamina, endurance and flexibility to dance, Roshan has a well-defined goal. With the help of his instructor, he follows a set workout prepared especially for him by his instructor. He splits his workouts into two sessions every day. Post breakfast and in the evening, Hrithik Roshan does around 20-30 minutes of cardio. Post that, he juggles with:

CrossFit Training (5 days a week): Sandbag drills, cone drills, sledgehammer drills, bungee sprints, shoulder press, kettlebell swings, bear crawls, kickboxing

Monday (back and chest exercises): 10 reps of dumbbell bench press, bent-over barbell row, underhand cable pulldowns, back tensions

Tuesday (legs): 12-15 reps of leg press, leg curls, leg extensions, hack squat, seated leg tucks

Thursday (abs, calves and shoulders): 12 reps of side lateral raise, upright barbell row, reverse flyes seated and standing calf raises

Friday (arms): 10-15 reps of dumbbell pullover, overhead triceps, straight arm pulldown, concentration curls, alternate bicep curl

-    Diet Plan

Hrithik Roshan is a foodie and does not like to sacrifice his ice creams and chocolates. Then how does he manage to keep in shape? Balance!

His diet plan includes 100 g meat along with carbohydrates like rice, pasta, spinach, broccoli and sprouts. He also includes fish, meatballs, pancakes, egg whites and yoghurt in his diet. He also consumes supplements like multivitamins, glutamine, salads and protein powders.

Depending on his body weight and look for a film, Hrithik Roshan changes his diet plan. His insulin sensitivity and blood type are taken into consideration, and he also takes an adequate amount of supplements. In the morning, Roshan takes Glutamine 1000, BCAA 1000, amino acid complex, Omega-3 softgels, liver detoxifiers and grape seed antioxidant capsules. Before workouts, he consumes grenade thermo caps and post workout Roshan prefers to stick to smoothies that consist of oats and walnuts, or protein shakes.
